Salted Caramel Chocolate Chunk Cookies

Ingredients:

• 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened

• 1 cup packed brown sugar

• ½ cup granulated sugar

• 2 large eggs

• 2 tsp vanilla extract

• 2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour

• 1 tsp baking soda

• ½ tsp salt

• 1 ½ cups semi-sweet or dark chocolate chunks

• 15–20 soft caramel candies, halved (or caramel bits)

• Flaky sea salt for topping
